Just wondering what people here like the most. Pick only your favorite type of music, and feel free to mention any of your favorite singers/groups.
For example, my favorites would be Bob Marley, Gregory Isaacs, and most of all: MC Hammer! _________________ Al: "there's nothing i love more than that dodge"

The only music I don't like at all is heavy metal. I listen to mostly midwest alt country...Robert Earl Keen, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Charlie Robison, Robyn Ludwick, Bruce Robison, Kelly Willis, Jack Ingram, Chris Knight, Jason Eady, Jason Boland and The Stragglers, Pure Prairie League, Cory Morrow, Randy Rogers Band, Corb Lund and the Hurtin' Albertans, Max Stalling, Walt Wilkins, Tina Wilkins, Ray Wylie Hubbard, The Rock Farmers, Wade Bowen, Paula Nelson, George Devore, Reckless Kelly, Ryan Bingham and the Dead Horses, Sunny Sweeney, Casey Donahew, The Doug Moreland Show, Muzzie Braun, Bart Crow, The Band of Heathens, Bonnie Bishop, Matt Skinner, Stoney LaRue, Micky and The Motorcars, The Rustlanders, Adam Hood, Lucas Hubbard, Roger Creager, Elizabeth Cook.
It's not really country, but it's not really rock.
Did you just make all of those bands up? I have never heard of a single one.

Actually my vote would have gone to 80's sitcom themes. Facts of Life, 227, Family Ties... _________________ "When you're through sick of trying, how can you expect to succeed?" - GB -

I don't see traditional Irish music up there.
Don't you mean Tom Jones? Everyone knows you like him now.
Actually, i had an "international" category, but this poll only allows 10 options. _________________ Al: "there's nothing i love more than that dodge"

Hip Hop, though I have an extremely low tolerance for bad hip hop (which is nearly everything on the radio currently).
The Roots, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, Saul Williams
Despite this however, my favorite group is actually Barenaked Ladies.

yes, i agree with you on that Zeb. old school hip hop is 100 times better than the new garbage being played out there. Heavy D is my favorite of that genre. _________________ Al: "there's nothing i love more than that dodge"
