Royce Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Course ("RGJJ") classes are for those students who desire to learn the proven techniques of the Gracie family. The complete art of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu is taught, including techniques for self-defense, ground grappling, throwing and basic striking. Classes are seperated by belt levels. Beginner classes are for White Belts from 0 - 3 stripes. Advanced Classes are for 4 Stripe While Belts and Up.

Jiu-Jitsu Sparring classes are classes where students are paired up to spar against one another. During these classes students are encouraged to use the techniques they have learned to play the game of Jiu-Jitsu. Students are paired up for between 3 and 6 rounds lasting 8 minutes each. On Fridays, Sparring is No-Gi.

No-Gi Wrestling Takedowns ("Wrestling") classes are open to Jiu-Jitsu students of all levels who wish to learn wrestling takedowns and practice No-Gi/Submission Wrestling. All Sparring rounds begin from standing.

Open Training Policy: Want to train outside of class? Remember, Capital Jiu-Jitsu maintains a generous Open Training Policy: whenever a CJJ academy is open, members of CJJ may use available mat space for open training.

* Classes may be canceled due to inclement weather or holiday observance. If Fairfax Public Schools are closed then so are we.
