Each year CrossFit has a worldwide competition and fundraiser called a Fight Gone Bad to raise money for two charities, Athletes for a Cure - a fundraising and awareness program of the Prostate Cancer Foundation - and Wounded Warrior Project - dedicated to raising awareness and enlisting the public’s aid for the needs of severely injured service men and women, helping severely injured service members aid and assist each other and providing unique, direct programs and services to meet their needs. A Fight Gone Bad workout consists of five exercises, performed for one minute each, with one-minute breaks given after all exercises have been completed. This grueling five-station rotation is then repeated three times per person.

This year, Capital Jiu-Jitsu, the premiere school of Martial Arts and Fitness in the Northern Virginia/Southern Maryland area, is organizing a team to participate in the Fight Gone Bad workout in hopes of raising $40.000 for the Wounded Warrior Project and Athletes for a Cure.

Visit the Capital Jiu-Jitsu Team Page to make a donation and help us meet our goal of raising $40,000.
