Iman Wins at UWC Man 'o War

February 23, 2009

One of CJJ's pro MMA fighters, Iman Achhal won her fight this weekend at UWC's Man "O" War in Fairfax VA. Iman defeated the heavily favored Felice Herrig via split decision. Iman neutralized the high caliber Muay Thai skills that earned Felice an 18-2 record in IKF Kickboxing competition. Winner of the Fight Girls reality show and World Association of Kickboxing Organizations (WAKO) champion, Felice came into the fight trained by Robbie Lawler and former UFC welterweight champion Matt Hughes' HIT squad. The commentators (and virtually everyone outside the CJJ family) expected Iman to lose, but she showed heart and determination in using her grappling skills to control Felice, score taking downs and win a split decision. Congrats to Iman on the victory.
